Meet the Board
Joey Dennis
Co-Chair
Joey is originally from Winchester, Virginia, and moved to the Shenandoah Valley after meeting his wife. Together, they have three children. He has worked in the construction industry for more than 20 years and has a deep passion for serving others and helping wherever he is needed.
Joey and Doug have been close friends for more than 14 years. They first met through their local church, where Joey continues to serve in a variety of roles. He has a heart for his family, values authentic relationships, and enjoys encouraging the people around him.
Joey’s decision to join DGM grew from both his friendship with Doug and his strong belief in the ministry’s mission. For nearly 10 years, he has faithfully served alongside the DGM team and is grateful for every opportunity to support its work, build meaningful relationships, and contribute to the lives of others.
Lori Hassett
Treasurer
Lori, CPA, CGMA is a founding board member and serves as the Treasurer, where she provides financial oversight and strategic guidance in support of the ministry’s commitment to sharing the Gospel and encouraging believers in their walk with Christ. Lori brings a unique combination of ministry experience, financial expertise, and servant leadership to her work with DGM and other nonprofit organizations. She currently serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Pioneer Bank and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA designation, as holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Liberty University. Her professional expertise, combined with a heart for service and biblical stewardship, enables her to make a meaningful impact in both the financial and ministry arenas. Lori is also a dedicated member of Calvary Independent Brethren Church in Stanley, Virginia, where she serves as a musician, choir director, and church treasurer. Through these roles, she uses her gifts in worship, leadership, and stewardship to support the church’s mission and ministry.
Greg Zimmerman
Secretary
Greg originally from Mount Solon, he grew up in a family that was active in their local church. Due to his father’s work with the Department of Defense, Greg spent part of his childhood in Germany. After graduating from Buffalo Gap High School, he attended Bridgewater College, where he studied music and became the college’s first guitar major.
Greg became acquainted with Doug over 20 years ago while leading worship at events where Doug was the featured speaker. Greg has a strong passion for leading people in worship. In addition, Greg enjoys organizing music programs for nursing homes and has volunteered at the Bridgewater Home for over 40 years.
Greg works as an Account Manager for The Frazier Quarry. He is also an avid gardener and enjoys walking, traveling, and singing with his wife, Holly. Together, they have five children, four of whom live in the area.
Eric Fulk
Spiritual Adviser
God brought Eric and Doug together 25 plus years ago and a connection as well as a friendship was birthed. Eric continues to see how God flows through and uses Doug wherever he is called to minister. It is such a blessing to be a part of his ministry. Eric has a passion to see people develop a closer relationship with Jesus, to be healed, delivered, set free and to bear fruit for God’s kingdom.
